Cookies and browser storage

Mivlet PRO pilot · Version 28 September 2026

The PRO pilot uses storage to sign you in, preserve your work and remember your choices. It does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Plausible and other analytics services are not enabled.

Authentication cookies

On app.mivlet.com, the __Host-mivlet-auth cookies, including any numbered chunks, maintain your signed-in session. They are secure, restricted to this host and unavailable to browser JavaScript. They are refreshed as required for sign-in and removed when you sign out. Recovery cookies use the same prefix with -recovery and expire within 15 minutes. These cookies are needed for the account features you request.

Preferences and time records on your device

Local storage remembers choices such as the theme, workspace view and dismissed security advice. The timer also stores unsent actions and recovery information in the browser so an interruption does not immediately discard your work. This information may include identifiers, time intervals and comments. It remains until synchronized and cleaned up or until you remove site data.

Optional offline opening

Enable offline use in Settings only on a device you trust. This stores a cached app and account/workspace information on that device so you can reopen Mivlet without a connection. Turning it off removes the offline opening snapshot; pending timer actions may still need to synchronize. Shared devices should not retain offline account data.

Removing local information

First connect to the internet and make sure all work is synchronized. Then disable offline use, sign out and clear Mivlet's site data in your browser if you want to remove local copies. Clearing data before synchronization can permanently lose unsent work. Removing browser storage does not delete your account or organization records on the server; contact support for that request.
